The next General Election for Municipal Officers will be held on May 12, 2012. 

This year, one citizen will be elected to serve as Mayor and two citizens will be elected at large to each serve a two year term as a Councilmembers for Places 2 and 4.  Please note that the places are not geographically based.  The terms of office will be from May of 2012 to May of 2014.  These positions are currently held by:

      Mayor.             Ron Robertson

                                                Place 2.            Jim Farrell

                                                Place 4.            Gracie Egan

On February 13, 2012, the Town Secretary certified 213 signatures, exceeding the required 207 petitions, to order a local option election in which the registered voters of the Town of Bartonville will cast a vote either "For" or "Against" the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption only.
