The Bartonville Town Council encourages all citizens to consider becoming actively involved in Town government by serving on a Town Board or Commission.
Board of Adjustment (BOA): The BOA meets as needed, typically two to three times per year.
The Bartonville Community Development Corporation (BCDC) is a non-profit, tax exempt Texas Corporation created in 2002 following the passage of one-half (1/4) of one-percent (1%) sales tax dedicated to community development by the residents of Bartonville.
The Bartonville Crime Control and Prevention District (BCCPD) is a special purpose district that was created in May 2010 to provide the opportunity to initiate a one-quarter percent sales and use tax to finance the district, upon voter approval.
The Commission's primary responsibility is to make recommendations to the Council regarding land use issues - primarily zoning, gas well drilling and subdivision plat requests.
