National Night Out
For Immediate Release
Thank you for making our 2022 National Night Out a Success!!
The Bartonville Police Department and Bartonville Crime Control and Prevention District would like to thank all of those who came out and supported our National Night Out Event.
This year National Night Out was held on Tuesday, October 4th. The night featured a bounce house obstacle course, face painting, music, an impairment vision obstacle course using a pedal cart, and free food. It was a fun night for all involved and a pleasure spending the evening with people from the local community which focused on bringing the police and community together.
This event would not have been possible without the generous donations and support of our local community. A very special thank you to the Lantana Community Church for providing the use of their parking lot for the event, to Marty B’s, the Bartonville Store, and Miss Piggy’s Catering for donating the delicious food and to Waste Connections for providing the beverages.
We appreciate all of the exhibitors who donated their time, energy, and door prizes in support of this community outreach: Best Little Brewfest in TX (Cloud 9 Charities), The Bartonville Store, CJs Legacy Ranch, Edward Jones – Kit Barlow, Championship Martial Arts, and Luminous Glow MedSpa.
We would also like to thank the agencies that participated: All American Dogs, the Denton County Emergency Services District #1, Denton County Crime Stoppers, TEXAS Search and Rescue, Homeland Security, Denco 9-1-1 for their 9-1-1 donations, and PHI Air Medical for the helicopter flyby.
The night would not have been possible without the monetary sponsorships and donations from Brown & Hofmeister; The Bartonville Store; Marty B’s; The Bartonville Town Center; Teague, Nall & Perkins; Cloud 9 Salon & Spa; Golden Egg Café; Edward Jones - Kit Barlow; Community Med Family Urgent Care and Shellman’s Fine Wine & Spirits. We truly appreciate your generosity.
Thank you to the Town Staff that assisted in organizing the event and to the volunteers who helped before, during and after the event and to every resident who attended the evening’s celebration.
We hope that everyone that attended had as much fun as we did! We look forward to celebrating again next year.
Bobby Dowell, Chief of Police
