Executive Order GA 29 Statewide Face Covering Requirment

On Thursday, July 2, Governor Abbott issued Executive Order No. GA-29, requiring Texans residing in counties with more than 20 COVID-19 cases to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth while in a commercial space, public building, or in an outdoor setting that does not allow for six feet of social distancing, with a few exceptions. The statewide order goes into effect at 12:01 p.m. on Friday, July 3.  For more details see Executive Order GA 29.


Executive Order GA 26 Reopening Texas Governor Greg Abbott Issued Executive Order GA 26 on June 3, 2020 implementing the third phase of the State of Texas plan to safely open the economy while containing the spread of COVID-19. Under Phase III, effective immediately, all businesses in Texas will be able to operate at up to 50% capacity, with very limited exceptions. Business that previously have been able to operate at 100% capacity may continue to do so, and most outdoor areas are not subject to capacity limits. All businesses and customers should continue to follow minimum standard health protocols laid out by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Town of Bartonville Disaster Declaration

On June 16, 2020, the Bartonville Town Council extended its Disaster Declaration. Town Hall will open to the public on July 1st, however, it is encouraged that all town hall and municipal court business be conducted online, by email, or by phone. The Town will continue to evaluate town operations and public health recommendations and any changes will be communicated through the town's website and town social media pages.

The Town Clean Up Day event has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 22nd, 7 am - 10 am   Postcards will be mailed in July.
