OUR HOMETOWN HEROES

Dedicated to the memory of the Bartonville Veterans who gave their lives while serving in the Armed Forces of the United States of America to preserve our freedom.  Lest they never be forgotten.

The Bartonville Veteran’s Memorial Recognition program honors Bartonville Veterans who gave their lives while serving in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

Plaques are displayed on the "Our Hometown Heroes" wall inside our Town Hall.  Plaques will be permitted for those that lost their lives while serving in the armed forces and that were at the time, or had previously been, a Bartonville resident.  The 8 x 10 plaque will include a 5 x 7 photo with three lines of print to include the service person’s name, age, branch of service, and years of service.  Funding for this program is provided by donations.  If you would like to make a donation, please stop by Town Hall.

To apply, complete an application and submit it along with a copy of the veteran's DD214, and a color portrait photo, preferably in uniform (if available) to the Town Administrator.
