Purpose

At its January 17,2023 meeting, the Town Council adopted Resolution 2023-02 creating a Special Events Advisory Committee  to advise and make recommendations to the Town Council for the successful planning and execution of the Town’s 50^th Anniversary of incorporation (October 2023) celebration and other events as deemed necessary by the Town Council.

In July 2024, Town Council restructured the Committee to continue planning and executing the Town's annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Memorial Day Events.

The Committee will act as an advisory committee to the Mayor and Town Council and shall be comprised of members who are Bartonville residents and two members of the Town Council.
