The Bartonville Municipal Court is closed to the public due to the continued rise in COVID-19 cases. Court staff is in office to assist you by phone 817-693-5283, Monday-Wednesday-Friday, 8 am - 12:00 PM or by email at email@example.com. During this time, court payments can be made online: www.townofbartonville.com/pay or by mail at 1941 E. Jeter Road, Bartonville, TX 76226.
All deadlines have been extended until AUGUST 31ST, 2020 for the following items:
Appearance dates for citations received during March, April, and May, June, July
Payment due dates
Discovery requests and response dates
Deadlines for submitting driver safety courses certificates, driving records, tobacco course certificates, proof of community service hours and alcohol education courses.
Compliance dismissal such as expired registration and expired driver’s license.
If you have not contacted the court regarding this, please do so as soon as possible.
Virtual E-Court using Zoom software - Court hearings will resume in September through Zoom. Please make sure you have updated the Court with your current address, telephone number and email. Postpone March-May dockets will be reset and E-Court notices will be mailed in after mid-August.
In order to attend an E-Court docket, you MUST download the free Zoom app onto your device and create a free account. You MUST use your full legal name and not a "fictitious name or nickname". You CANNOT have someone appear on your behalf unless they are a licensed Texas attorney. You may be asked to provide a Texas Driver’s License number to verify your identity on the date of your virtual court date. Once you have attended E-Court, the Court will provide required Court documents to you within 3 business days and you MUST submit completed/signed documents and payments to the Court within 3 business days. It is your responsibility to assure you receive Court documents and follow up with the Court to verify receipt of payment and or submitted Court documents.
**Note: if you are requesting 30-day extension/time to pay or Dimissal options, Deferred Disposition or Driver’s Safety Course, you may do so by assuring your meet the eligibility requirements on the Municipal Court webpage and contacting the Court clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 817-693-5283 during Court clerk hours. Requests for these may not require an appearance at E-Court.
